Trying to find 24 inch bicycle snow tires or chains?

A friend of mine has a Next Power Climber that has 24 inch tires. I've been trying since before Christmas to find a way for him to not slip and slide when he's riding his bike on the ice and in the snow, but to no avail.

I think your best bet would be to stud them yourself. I've seen studs you can buy for ATV tires; You screw them from the inside so they protrude through the tire. I suppose you can use them for bike tires as well. But you'll probably also have to get

is that just the circumference multiplied by 100? i forget how you do these kinds of problems...help and explain it so its clear to me.

Diameter, d = 24 in.

Circumference, C = πd
C = 24π
C = 75.4 in.

100 rotations = 100(75.4) = 754 in., or 62 ft., 10 in.

20" or 24" bicycle tires size?

Hi I am 18 years old, and I am interested to buy a mountain bike online. From my feet to my hip bone is 35.5 inches. I am 5'3 and s.t. I am just wondering what wheel size would be best for me?. I am aiming more towards the 24 inch than the 20.

Most adult sized mountain bikes have 26" wheels, but frame size is more important than wheel size. Frame size is determined by a combination of inseam measurement and torso length. The best way is have yourself measured at a good bike shop.

I am really tight on money, and I have decided that a 24'' frame bicycle fits me better,so I was wondering if a switch could be possible without any important inconveniences or if it's even technically possible.


no. you wouldn't be able to mount the brakes. I suppose you could get a new fork, but are you going to reweld the seat & chainstays? if you do, you'll weaken the metal. you've out grown the 24". time to get a new bike.

An April Drive woman said four credit card companies contacted her recently asking for more information on the applications. She told them she never applied for the cards. She later learned a person in Florida used her identity on one of the applications and gave an abandoned warehouse as an address.

In another fraud incident reported on May 24, a Wrens Path woman told deputies that someone with her credit card number ordered items online and had them delivered to her home. The unauthorized charges totaled $625. The woman canceled the card.

Also on May 24, someone slashed tires on two vehicles parked at a Mayfair Road apartment complex.

A 49-year-old Massillon man was arrested at the Akron-Canton Airport on May 23. The man was wanted on a warrant for drug possession in Summit County.

Thieves entered two cars in the 3200 block of Imrek Road May 23. A GPS device, two compact discs and about $7.00 in loose change were reported stolen. Both vehicles were unlocked.
