Buying mountain bike gloves?

Get Large.
What I would do is go to a local bike store, try out some Mountain bike gloves, see what size they are and then decide. Large is what i would get.

The 17th annual Skyline Park Mountain Bike Race will take place on Sunday. 

The race occurs at Skyline Park, which has held events such as the 1997-1999 UCI World Cup Cross-Country season opener and the 2008 Single Speed World Championships. Climbs and technical single track trails await riders as they compete against each other for the chance to qualify for the Mountain Bike National Championships in Sun Valley, Idaho, July 14-17. 

The event is part of the Sierra Cup Regional Championship Series for Northern California and Nevada. Racers are awarded points at each race in the series. The highest points in each category are awarded the regional championship.

Series sponsors include Wilderness Trail Bikes, GU energy products and CytoMax Performance Drinks. Locally, the race is supported by Clif Family Winery, Bicycle Works, The Hub, Napa River Velo and Napa Valley Bike Tours.
